The Bonn-based, private Grizzly Foundation promotes particularly talented young jazz musicians in Germany.

Trumpeter Daniel Migliosi (born 2004) is a new scholarship holder of the Grizzly Jazz Foundation. Migliosi was born in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) in 2004 and studies at the Cologne University of Music and Dance with Prof Andy Haderer and Matthias Bergmann. The trumpeter has been a member of the Bundesjazzorchester (Bujazzo), a project of the German Music Council, since 2023. ‘We have come to know Daniel Migliosi as a talented, internationally active and energetic musician. His playing is virtuoso, he pursues his artistic goals with great straightforwardness, his energy and joy of playing have inspired us. We are delighted to be able to accompany him on his journey for two years,’ says Dr Christian Cassebaum, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Click here for the full press release.
