Trumpeter Daniel Migliosi is the third scholarship holder of the Grizzly Jazz Foundation. Migliosi was born in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) in 2004 and studies at the Cologne University of Music and Dance with Prof Andy Haderer and Matthias Bergmann. Since 2023, the trumpeter has been a member of the Bundesjazzorchester (Bujazzo), a project of the German Music Council. His album ‘On The Edge’ was released in May 2024 with an international band: from New York Kaisa Mäensivu on bass and Kai Craig on drums, from London Sean Payne on saxophone and from Cologne Benedikt Göb on piano. The release will be accompanied by a release tour in cities such as Luxembourg, Brussels, London, Cologne, Berlin and Paris.
